Happy October and Happy Halloween!
Welcome back to the blog. And if you're new to our website, thank you so much for showing your interest and supporting this writing journey. Hopefully, you're excited to learn about the live and offline projects that I've been working on.
First on the list is a poetry anthology that contains the top 100 poems I've written. It's called Poetic, and it features mostly rhyming free verse poems and a special section for original song lyrics. It will go live on most major ebook retailers on December 12, 2024. Readers who live in the Philippines can purchase a printed copy of the book by messaging our Facebook author page.

Do you know what else will be coming out on December 12? Two other books, specifically the downloadable ebook edition of Godhood and Citrinella. I have finally finished editing Godhood. All that's left to do is conduct a final proofread and layout the epub file. I'm keeping the front cover from the Wattpad version to help readers identify that the book is free to download.
Citrinella, on the other hand, will have a new cover that matches the other books in the series. I went for warm shades of brown and orange that match not only the title but also the overall feel of the trilogy. I'll finish editing the last four chapters by October 25, then use the last week of the month for proofreading.

As for November, I will once again be joining National Novel Writing Month. However, I'm not going to use the official website due to last year's forums mishaps. Instead, I will upload little diary entries about my works in progress on Wattpad, along with excerpts from the stories themselves.
My main project for NaNoWriMo will be longer, better versions of the Tales Retold series, with the first one being an "after-story retelling" of Snow White. This started off as a joke in response to the issue regarding Disney's live action version of the animated movie. There seems to be a misconception that the original tale is all about romance, although it is not. So I figured, let's write a version that actually is romantic. And it'll take place after the events of the original story so that the relationship between Snow White and her prince will make more sense.

I plan to launch this series next year, along with the last book for The Fairy Tomes of Cerulean Cove. It appears that all previous versions of Breena's draft don't depict the kind of romantic chemistry I hope to convey. The Hunted Princess and Breena will hopefully be out by February 20, 2025.
