December 2021 Updates

Cover reveal, book descriptions, and a song recommendation for the Christmas holiday.

Hello again! Welcome back to our monthly blog! Before everything else, advance Merry Christmas!

I hope your holiday preparations are going smoothly. Mine is currently on hold, but that's okay. That's because I've been working on the stories that will be coming out in January next year.

You can know more about them in the cover art and description reveal below. I might have to apply minor changes to them before publishing. However, their core aesthetics and keywords will remain the same. To grab your Read and Review Copy of the books, make sure to join the mailing list. The digital RRCs will be distributed through our monthly newsletters.

Updates

Without further ado, please welcome the new books that will be in our digital libraries starting 2022!

Love at first dance.

The Fall Gatherings have started, and the flutterfae have arrived to seek human brides. But as much as Crystal wants to experience this most elegant event of the year, she can't go to their balls. She has had to work hard and repay her late sister's debts, which means no money to buy even the plainest cloth for a new dress.

However, good fortune comes in the guise of a kind, old neighbor and a beautiful crimson gown. Now Crystal has a chance to enjoy the long nights of music and dancing at Flutterfae Grove. She is determined to overcome the loss of her sister and have the time of her life.

Then, she catches a handsome stranger's eye…

Choosing Eternity

Stand-alone sequel to After Eternity.

From a goblin chase into a prince's arms.

Ivory Ducal is on the run from the most vicious, violent creatures to ever exist. The goblins will stop at nothing to gain the artifact in her possession: a shard of the evil mirror which had shattered many years ago. It's during her hasty escape that she tears through a magical veil and stumbles into the supernatural realm.

Jules Frost, the second prince of Taiga, bumps into the half-dead, heavily injured Ivory while patroling the borders of his brother's kingdom. The gallant royal defends her from her pursuers and takes her to his private residence to heal. She agrees to stay with him only until the eve of winter solstice.

Will the spark of attraction between them foil this arrangement?

Leopardized

Stand-alone sequel to Catwished.

Magic turns her whole world upside-down.

Madelyn Garcia, always followed by an alternating string of good and bad luck, discovers three things after nearly losing her life during a robbery gone wrong. Number one, she can turn herself into a clawed animal. Number two, the grizzly bear that saves her life isn't really a bear. Number three, there is a whole other world that exists in a hidden, magical plane alongside the one she knows. It's a lot to take in, but luckily, Detrion Afra is there to help her.

The more the shapeshifting jinni gives Madelyn a hand, the more she finds herself attracted to him. However, she can't seem to figure out if he's returning her feelings for real. Something is holding him back, and it's up to her to find out what. She has to get past his outer shell, or in this case his fuzzy fur, to do it. How hard will it be to love the mysterious, magical man now that her life has been leopardized?

Recommendations

Now that you've read about our upcoming releases, you're probably excited to get your hands on them. It's still a long wait 'til January though, so we'll have to bide the time with lots of Christmas celebrations. Food, fun, and friendly company will hopefully be more than enough to keep us occupied.

Let's not forget the music. Carols will be saturating the air the closer we get to Christmas Eve. In fact, I'm gonna start it off with this one here. Kampana ng Simbahan by Leo Valdez has to be one of my most favorite December tunes. Not only does it portray our variation of Misa de Gallo (nine-day early morning Mass of Roman Catholics), but it also features the festive cadence that Filipino music is well-known for.

I've added a YouTube link for the song below. Feel free to listen to it and soak up the holiday cheer. And if you want more holiday posts, make sure to visit our Facebook page. Now that NaNoWriMo is over, I'll be posting about different things there. Once again, have a very Merry Christmas, and thank you so much for stopping by!
