Hello everyone!
Welcome back to the blog. Hopefully, your preparations for Christmas and the New Year are going smoothly. Our family has been busy getting new decorations and setting them up this past week. We're waiting for our tree to arrive; our old one has become so brittle that it's losing its fake leaves like a real tree does. We've strung up some colorful lights as well, so the outside of our house looks festive.

I've decided to reschedule the full release of Gentle Green to January 12, 2024, for several reasons. First, I want to focus on the End Of Year Sale which takes up a big chunk of the homepage on Smashwords. There will be so many books participating that it will most likely drown Gentle Green, even if it's free. Second, I'm not able to promote the book as much because of all the holiday preparations going on. Third, since the cover and title can be misleading in relation to the month, releasing it in January will help clarify that it isn't associated with Christmas.
Aside from Gentle Green, other plans for next year include the release of Sienna (Fairy Tomes, Book V) and Breena (Fairy Tomes, Book VI). There's also the new fantasy romance novel that replaced My Guardian Dear during NaNo. Last but not least, the new stories in the Eternal Romances and Jinn Shifters collections are underway.
The third Eternal Romances story will feature John, the fourth prince of Taiga and the youngest brother of Jack from After Eternity. As for the Jinn Shifters novella, the story will take place in the human realm, like Catwished. I'm taking my time on these projects because of other responsibilities at home, so it will be a while before we set a fixed release date.
All in all, that's five planned titles, with plenty more story concepts available should the need or urge arise.
As for the End Of Year sale, four of our titles will be participating. These winter-themed stories are After Eternity, Choosing Eternity, Yule Kingdom, and Merry Winters. They will be available at 50% off from December 15, 2023 to January 1, 2024. If you know someone who's into cozy Christmas or winter romances, please let them know that they can get these books from Smashwords and other major retailers for less in the next two weeks.
Regarding My Guardian Dear, I will be doing an overhaul of the magic system and lore for guardian spirits. My first vision of the series focused too much on the female leads, leaving little holes and inconsistencies in the background and making their stories go in different directions. It's also going to take a while for this project to finish.
